• Student and school data provided by schools that use vidYug — for example student records, fees, attendance and exam information — which is entered and managed by the school.

We use the information we collect to:

• provide and operate our school management services;
• send school-related notifications and updates, including via WhatsApp;
• respond to enquiries and provide customer support; and
• maintain the security and reliability of our services.

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We only share information where necessary to operate our services (for example, trusted infrastructure or messaging providers acting on our behalf) or where required by law.

Data is stored securely using appropriate technical and organisational measures. Schools own the data they enter into vidYug; we process it on their behalf and provide tools to export it.
